World of Fish

For the more adventurous the Shetland scallops are absolutely superb, (eat the orange coral as well!), Brancaster Mussels (seasonal, tender and juicy), cockles (from Wales of course, best with Lava Bread, a kind of seaweed) and much more.

He even has langoustines, from France, both live and cooked. He even gets razor clams, swordfish and both yellow and blue fin tuna. If you want a platter of seafood, Alan will make up exactly what you want including oysters in season, various grades of prawns, a decent variety of smoked fish, potted shrimps, dressed crab etc.

Apart from selling you the fish, Alan & Brian will talk animatedly about it and if you are travelling a distance they will pack the fish in ice and polystyrene to keep it cool.

Make an effort to visit World of Fish, it will be worth your while and won't break the bank.
